Just in case you haven't seen this from your provider portals or listservs, CMS has officially decided to pause the Competitive Bidding round for 2021 in most product categories. 

One aspect for the decision driven of course by the COVID-19 pandemic and how competitive bid would impact providers attempting to keep patient populations safe & supplied at home. Another interesting revelation is that "previous payment amounts did not achieve the expected savings". 

Does this mean CMS has officially shaved rates down to the bone?
