Mobile Driver Version 2.0 Released by Universal Software Solutions
Universal Software Solutions, Inc. has announced the release of HDMS Mobile Driver 2.0 for January 27th 2014. “We are very excited about the many ways Mobile Driver has evolved since its debut release in 2012. We will be updating current and implementing new users through January and February.” Christopher Dobiesz, President. HDMS Mobile Driver is a cloud-based service that operates on tablets and smart phones to enable drivers the ability to manage orders assigned to them and to update the delivered status on those orders as they work throughout their day. Mobile Driver provides many powerful features:
- GPS based routing of orders.
- Update work order information in real-time.
- Capture patient signatures.
- Send real-time order changes, routing changes, status changes and driver notes.
- Record oxygen lot numbers and serial numbers of product being delivered.
- Record DOT logs of vehicle information.
The new version includes an improved interface for ease of use and navigation, more useful screens, enhancements to the oxygen module, and stronger security. From the work order screen the driver or technician can now add an item to the delivery, add an oxygen pick up, add a rental pick up, and add any service for serviceable items. The signature screen has also been improved and more information can be captured when the patient is not available to sign for the order.
The new Mobile Driver Service features are available exclusively to HDMS users. The cost is less than $95 per driver per month. Look for a Mobile Driver 2.0 Webinar to be offered to all HDMS users in February of 2014.
